Materials needed
- 4-5mm crochet hook (I use 4.25mm)
- Chunky yarn (Premier Yarns Parfait Chunky or Himalaya Dolphin Baby Yarn are both good)
- White
- Brown
- 12mm safety eyes
- Black embroidery thread
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
Abbreviations
- Mr: magic ring
- Ch: chain
- Sc: single crochet
- Inc: increase (two sc in one stitch)
- Dec: decrease (one sc through two stitches using invisible decrease technique)
- St: stitch
- Slst: slip stitch
- R: round
head: Brown color
- 1: Make a magic ring with 6sc (6)
- 2: (inc)*6 (12)
- 3: (sc 1, inc)*6 (18)
- 4: (sc 2, inc)*6 (24)
- 5: (sc3, inc)*6 (30)
- 6: (sc4, inc)*6 (36)
- 7: (sc5, inc)*6 (42)
- 8-12: sc all around (42)
- 13: (sc5, dec)*6 (36)
- 14: (sc4, dec)*6 (30)
- 15: (sc3, dec)*6 (24)

Fasten off but you do not need to leave a long tail. Stuff the head and insert safety eyes between r10-11 about 6 st apart
ears: Brown color
- 1: Make a magic ring with 6sc (6)
- 2: (inc)*6 (12)
- 3: (sc 1, inc)*6 (18)
- 4-7: sc all around (18)
- 8: (sc1, dec)*6 (12)
- 9-15: sc all around (12)
- Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Make two of these and do not stuff. Sew the ears between r5-6 of the head.
nose: White color
- 1: Make a magic ring with 8sc (8)
- 2: (inc)*8 (16)
- 3: sc all around (16)
- Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Sew part of the nose between the eyes first, and then stuff the nose. This will allow you to shape the nose more easily!
Body: Start with white yarn first to make the legs
- 1: Make a magic ring with 6sc (6)
- 2: (inc)*6 (12)
- 3: sc all around (12)
- Change to brown yarn
- 4-5: sc all around (12)
- Fasten off and make the second leg. Do not cut yarn off of second leg and chain 2 to join with first leg.
- 6: sc12, then sc on each ch of the ch2, sc12, then on each ch of other side of ch2 (28)
- 7: sc5, inc, sc16, inc, sc5 (30)
- 8-13: sc all around (30) 14: (sc3, dec)*6 (24)
- 15: (sc2, dec)*6 (18) 16: sc all around (18)
- Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Stuff the body with a LOT of stuffing! We love chonky plushies 🙂
Arms: Start with white yarn first
- 1: Make a magic ring with 8sc (8)
- 2: sc all around (8)
- Change to brown yarn
- 3-7: sc all around (8)
- Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Make two of these and stuff the arms. Sew both arms on last row of body across from each other.
